Logo for an Abortion Fund

The Lavender Fund, based in Washington D.C., is a non-profit dedicated to securing financial aid for people facing complex and challenging pregnancies they can no longer continue. Its donors help to ensure that every patient receives the same safe, high-quality, compassionate care regardless of their background, income, or zip code. In 2025, the fund pledged over $ 600,000 of support for 200 patients from the United States and 4 other countries to receive care at the DuPont Clinic, a private outpatient facility.

We designed this logo to incorporate lavender in both its meanings — the color and the flower. This imagery and palette aligns with the DuPont Clinic’s branding, including its floral logo and facility decor. The flowers symbolize beauty and calm in a challenging time. The added visual element of a bow suggests a gift, symbolizing the intention of the Lavender Fund.

As usual, we created a few alternate layouts and color variations of the logo for various uses. Soon after creating the logo, we had a chance to explore using it in an annual report

An illustration of 5 stalks of lavender, with purple petals and green stems, tied in a bunch with a purple bow. Text is placed in an arc around the illustration. Above says Lavender Fund and below says Supporting Abortion Access. There is a purple dotted oval outline surrounding the entire logo.
